Therm-A-Hinge intumescent pads are produced from a Therm-A-Flex material to complement the protection offered by intumescent seals edge seals, such as Therm-A-Seal and Therm-A-Stop or from Therm-A-Strip material where a lower level of intumescent expansion pressure is required.

FEATURES & BENEFITS

Therm-A-Hinge pads are fitted under each blade of the hinges of fire doors of FD60 specification and above.

The rebates in the frame and leaf are cut deeper to accommodate the pad thickness i.e. 1 or 2mm.

Fixing screws can be simply driven through the intumescent material.
